Gaia One - Nikki Bell comes from a sporting background having rowed for NZ and studying sport science. Found that what complemented her training resign was YOGA. She trained in Bikram Yoga 2006, travelled the world teaching the 28/2 practise for several years and have now returned home to Christchurch, New Zealand.
Her passion for yoga also allowed her to find a passiotate practise in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, & Hatha Yoga. Also leanring Kids Yoga through Rainbow Kids Yoga in 2016.
Nikki Teaches a combination Hatha Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together, is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga. It's a broad classification that encompasses many different types of yoga, including Ashtanga and Power Yoga In contemporary yoga parlance, vinyasa stands in opposition to hatha. Hatha classes tend to focus on one pose at a time with rest in between. In contrast, flow classes string poses together to make a sequence.
